Purple Glam Eye Look

Beauty, cruelty free makeup

Today’s look is a purple eye with gold and pink shimmers on the lid. This look is nice for daytime wear but would be especially great for nighttime; one for going out for dinner or a night out, a special occasion etc. It’s a look that is glamourous, beguiling and was kinda giving me Arabian luxe vibes. I did actually wear this look during the day and loved how the shimmers reflected in the sunlight.

For this look, I used the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette, the Tarte Tartiest Pro Amazonian Clay Palette and the light pink shimmer shade from the Magic Palette by Juvias Place.

Simple Spring Yellow Eye Look

Beauty, cruelty free makeup

Hey huns!

Today’s look is one to wear for Spring. Yellow is such a beautiful and bright colour to wear on the lids and is one of my fav eyeshadow colours. It really brings attention to your eyes, makes them pop and is just fab for a spring/summer look.

My favourite way to wear yellow eyeshadow is to literally just pack it onto the lid. I feel with a colour this bold for daytime wear, you don’t really have to do too much with it in terms of technique. This is such a simple eye look; I only used 3 different shades to create it so if you’re rushed for time when doing your makeup but still want to add some colour to your eyes, then this is great!

Eyes

I used the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Palette for this eye look (…again, I promise I own more than just one palette but I just love this so much).

Transition & Crease – Pukey

Lid & Lower Lash Line – Creamsicle

Inner Corner – Obsessed

Lips

I used the stunning Marc Jacobs Le Marc Creme Lipstick in the shade Kate (exclusive to John Lewis). I adore this lipstick! It’s the most gorgeous rosy-mauve colour.

Other Products I’m Wearing:

Primer: Elf Mineral Face Primer

Foundation: Tarte Empowered Hybrid Gel Foundation in Light – Medium Honey

Concealer: Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define in C1

Contour: Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit in Light

Powder: Kat Von D ‘Lock It’ Setting Powder in Translucent

Eyebrows: Sleek Makeup Eyebrow Kit in Dark & NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel

Highlighter: Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette

Setting Spray: Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day Peach Setting Spray

Spotlight Eye Look

Beauty, cruelty free makeup

I’m baaaack!

Apologies, I had to take a break from blogging due to some personal matters and didn’t feel as if I was in the best head space to blog. That being said, things are getting better now and I’m happy to be back!

Today’s look is one that I’ve tried a couple of times before but never really put too much effort into. So, this is my first proper attempt at a spotlight eye, also known as a halo eye. This technique is great for giving you the illusion of larger, rounder eyes.

I usually wear cut crease eye looks and so I wanted to try something different. I wore neutral and warm toned shadows on my lid and went for a bold blue colour on my waterline to help make my eyes pop!

Eyes

I used my Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Palette to create this eye look.

Transition – Pooter

Crease – Huntz, Roxanne & Jacz

Outer and inner corners – Hunts & Pukey

Lid (Spotlight) – Enlight & Silk Creme

Lower lash line – Twerk

Water line – NYX Slide On Eye Pencil in Sunrise Blue

Lips

For lipstick I used NYX Lip Lingerie in Cashmere Silk which is a stunning milky beige, mauve colour.
