The Shacket – a clothing hybrid of when shirt meets jacket. A shacket is a great autumnal, transitional piece for those days where the weather is a bit warmer. I also think they are a great alternative to a denim jacket and are super versatile as it pairs well with items such as jeans and midi skirts. This shacket in particular is the epitome of utilitarian urban chic and injects a little edge into the outfit. I especially love the boxy silhouette as well as the dropped shoulders and raw hem detail along its bottom.
Team a shacket with an all black outfit and some chunky trainers and you cant go wrong! You have a simple yet stylish daytime ensemble.

Polka dots are one of those prints that are very versatile and easy to wear; they are classic and timeless so they don’t go out of fashion and can be worn all year round. The print pairs well with denim and is a tasteful way to style up a simple pair of jeans.
Backless mules are great transitional shoes from sandal weather and offer semi-coverage which means they are fab to wear on those days that aren’t quite so cold during A/W.
Hair accessories can just add that extra bit of chic to an outfit so here, I’ve opted for a black, velvet knot headband to pull the look together.
It’s leather trouser season again and I couldn’t be happier about it; they’re my favourite A/W staple piece as they are so versatile and can dress up any day-time outfit. For today’s get-up, I’ve combined coated, leather look jeans with a white blazer and plain black tee for a simple yet stylish monochromatic combo. I can’t wait to put more outfits together with these jeans during the colder months, especially with jumpers and more blazers. Leather seems to come back every A/W so I’d definitely recommend investing in a pair of faux leather- look trousers to keep up to date with the trend.

An oversized blazer and a satin slip skirt combination is a super stylish day time look. Here, I’ve put together an almost all black outfit with a pop of snake print as a contrasting pattern to make the skirt stand out more. The structure and tailoring of the blazer complements the sleekness and midi length of the skirt as they balance each other out, adding chic and sophistication to the outfit.
A pair of trainers with this ensemble gives it a more cool and casual vibe. Handheld, structured bags are a continuing accessory trend into A/W ’19 so I paired this black and gold one to match the colours to the rest of the outfit and the hardware on the belt and the jewellery.
Necklace and Earrings: Primark
For this look, I paired an oversized slogan t-shirt with a beige body-con midi skirt. The ruching on the skirt provides a flattering fit and it has incredible stretchiness, making it very comfortable to wear. The trench coat is a great way to chic this outfit up and is fab to wear for the cooler days as it’s lightweight yet just enough to keep you warm.
On my feet, I’m wearing the best Balenciaga dupes I’ve found yet; they’re not as chunky although they’re pretty close. I find that they are super comfortable and the perfect stylish trainer. The colour of these shoes also ties in wonderfully with the rest of the outfit, fitting in perfectly with the beige theme.

So, this is my first fashion post! I thought I’d start with this outfit; it’s rather autumnal and wintery and can be worn during the day or to casual evening events (I wore this outfit to the cinema with friends).
I work literally a few shops away from a Peacocks store and thought I’d pop in there on my lunch break a couple of weeks ago and have a look. I was so impressed! They have such great range of A/W clothing in there at the moment! I saw the skirt and instantly fell in love! I’ve wanted a checked skirt for a while now as I know that checked prints are in this season but I’ve been hesitant to buy one as I’ve wanted to make sure the material was of good quality. I’ve put a few different checked print skirts in my basket on boohoo.com many times but as much as I love their site, I find some of their skirts can have poor quality, made with a thin material. This skirt from Peacocks feels lovely and soft and is a thick material, making it warmer and more comfortable on my body. It almost feels woolly!
The turtleneck top I’m wearing is very comfortable and feels lightweight – the only negative with this top is that it is quite see-through but I’m sure it would be fine if worn with a nude coloured bra. The fit is great and as the top is a cream colour, it means it can easily be styled with many outfits choices.
This coat is one of my favs! It’s so warm and cosy and looks very stylish. I can wear it with most outfits and I just love the camel brown colour. I bought this coat a few years ago and it’s lasted so well considering how much I wear it.
These block heeled patent shoes are boot-i-ful! (See what I did there). The shine gives them a luxe look and helps make any outfit appear more trendy.
